About the Opportunity: 
Saratech is seeking a Full Charge Bookkeeper with a minimum of three years of Accounting experience. This is a full-time position or part-time leading to full-time position located at our corporate headquarters in Mission Viejo, CA. Ideal candidates will possess the following qualifications, experience, and abilities:
Qualifications and Experience:
  • Minimum of 3 years Accounting experience
  • Strong QuickBooks proficiency
  • Strong computer competency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Additional IT knowledge a plus, including syncing tools
  • Some project management experience
  • Previous experience working on multiple projects simultaneously
  • Proven ability to solve problems, analyze systems and data, and suggest appropriate solutions
  • Experience working in a multi-state environment is desirable, i.e. sales tax filings
  • Knowledge of customer relationship management tools, Salesforce.com a plus

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Prepare month-end journal entries and post to general ledger for submission to CFO
  • Assist in posting and financial management of Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable
  • Effectively prioritize and manage numerous activities
  • Identify discrepancies and research the source
  • Prepare multi-state sales tax filings
  • Calculate commissions and bonuses
  • Compile and post payroll information to QuickBooks
  • Reconcile banks accounts
  • Process purchase orders
  • Many other duties as assigned
