  • Three (3) years hands-on experience in a customer environment successfully implementing multiple components of Teamcenter
  • Expert trouble shooting capabilities.  Demonstrated experience with complex problem solving and decision making resulting in customer satisfaction and positive feedback.
  • Team player who coordinates directly with different support teams to ensure that all the environments are up and running.

  • Accountable for the hardware, software and implementation of a PLM Lab supporting 100’s of clients
  • Expert in remote management:  Desktop Services, VPN, SSH, Telnet, FTP, PsExec
  • Proficient in file management and file sharing
    • CIFS, NFS, Windows Server File Sharing
    • Understanding of advanced security and permissions
  • Skilled in virtualization software which includes:
  • Citrix - Manage 50+ virtual machines
  • VMware – Support 100+ virtual machines, plus VMware Player and Workstation
  • Hyper-V – Maintain 10 virtual machines
  • Fluent in migrating between software providers
  • Full understanding of backup and recovery 
  • Competent in full installation from hardware to software to configuration
  • Expert at installation/customization/configuration of PLM Applications specifically Teamcenter Enterprise, Teamcenter Unified, and NX which include integrated components such as but limited to:

  • Ability to navigate through logs and locate and resolve issues directly as a result of troubleshooting skills related to Teamcenter and NX applications
  • Responsible (Manage) for data center which includes patch panel, 4 racks holding enterprise class servers, multiple switches and routers that are monitored for multiple domains
  • Development knowledge including:
    • Batch scripting - Developed multiple utilities to manage deployment of software and clients to users, in addition, to packaging scripts to efficiently transfer software/data to client machines on a large scale
    • Java
    • Shell scripting - Develop and maintain scripts to manage daily operations
    • SQL scripting
  • Install and configure Teamcenter (all layers, all modules, and interfaces & integrations, as needed) for all environments: sandbox, development, test & production.
  • Perform tests for environment integrity and performance.
  • Package & deploy custom codes and assist various project teams during their solution validation (unit, system, and user acceptance testing)
  • Continuously improve and optimize system architectural elements, such as FMS/FSC, Enterprise servers & pool managers, web servers, distribution, clients, translations servers, etc. for enhanced performance and scalability.
  • Act as Teamcenter Expert to resolve key systemic production issues sent from application support team.  Off-business hours involvement is often required for urgent production systemic issue, and deploying system changes.
  • Monitor system regularly; ensure that the Teamcenter services & automated scripts scheduled on the server machines are properly running,
  • Create and develop scripts or 3rd party solutions to enable effective system health monitoring.
  • Ensure that scripts are in place for tracking Teamcenter instance availability and metrics on availability.
  • Perform Teamcenter system administrator activities, such as removing process & data locks,
Up to 25% travel to East Aurora, NY with balance being remote support from home office.  Travel expenses paid.
